What it does
Level reads your output as a single large number — no dense dashboard, no clutter. Just the level you need to set a channel, match a speaker, or confirm a system is balanced, clear at a glance and live as you work. Plug in a calibrated USB measurement mic like the Dayton iMM-6C and import its cal file, and those readings become true SPL.
A big, calm decibel number that responds the instant you move a gain or volume knob — readable from the listening seat, so you set the level where you actually hear it.
A marker floats to the loudest moment and holds it — so you can confirm a peak, compare one speaker against another, or check that nothing runs hotter than you intended. Reset with a tap.
A-weighted to match how your ears hear, C for full-range and bass-heavy systems, Z unweighted for raw output. Fast or Slow response — the right curve for the level you’re setting.
The reference signal
Tap play and Level sends pink noise out any output — your iPhone, AirPlay, Bluetooth, or a USB interface — while the meter keeps reading. Set one speaker to a target, then match the next to it; balance the channels of a car system or a home rig; dial in gains against the number, not guesswork.
A consistent, full-spectrum reference, generated on-device and sent to the output you choose. Match speaker levels, balance left and right, set a listening level, or check the system end to end — without juggling apps or test tracks.
How it works
No setup, no account. Open Level and it’s reading live — the same three steps every time you dial in a system.
Allow the microphone and read a speaker’s output live, from the listening position. Audio is measured only — nothing is recorded.
Send pink noise out any output — iPhone, AirPlay, Bluetooth, or USB — so every speaker has the same reference to level against.
Match each speaker to your target, balance the channels, and confirm the system is even — by the number or by ear.
Privacy
Audio is measured in real time and never recorded, stored, or uploaded. The reference noise is generated on-device. Level does not collect, store, or share your personal data — and it makes no network connections at all.
